Winding down,
The clock ticking,
Last bell of the year,
Hearts beating.
What was said and done,
Few remain,
Forgiving to the past,
Looking ahead.
We welcome it again,
Chance for renewal,
Shouldn't need the wait,
Leaf turning for the good.
