The dragon sleeps,
Dreams of the jade dance,
Feather form in grace,
Long past the days.
Spring turned the corner,
Summer the warm melody,
Low reed pipe notes,
Hail the coming fall.
Shudders the ancient gate,
A heaving sigh,
One day the dragon will awake,
Glittering scales to the sky.
